Lori Kenney - is an artist from Vancouver island.
Her art is created with gathered and found vintage textiles, primarily linen, which is deconstructed, then arranged in abstract forms on canvas or wood panels. Loosely based on the grid, she creates surfaces that are rich, with complex mark making, that show the depth and nuance of multiple layers built up over time.
